The new 2.1 release brings powerful automation improvements, enhanced workflows, and broader data support for photogrammetry and LiDAR projects:

🔍 Improved Usability
Better visibility and discoverability of tools and buttons across the ribbons.

📡 SLAM Support
Now supporting SLAM point-cloud imports (e.g. XGRIDS, NavVis)
→ Import trajectories + images, COLMAP scenes, and auto-generate virtual cameras.
→ Easily combine with photogrammetry or other LiDAR data.

🌲 LiDAR Classification
ASPRS classes from .las/.laz files are now supported.
→ Classes are controllable in the 3D view and can be used for selective meshing.

🔄 New Export Formats

â€ĸ Improved COLMAP export
â€ĸ XMP export (undistorted & original)

đŸ›Šī¸ Trajectory Import (formerly Flight Logs)
More formats and full customization: Euler angle order, mount direction, updated parameters.

Checkerboard visualization, better defragmentation, improved default settings.

A fully scriptable CLI version for alignment, reconstruction, texturing, and export.

🤖 In-App AI Model Updater
Update AI models without reinstalling the application.
